We have created this Privacy Policy to describe how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage your personal information.
How We Collect, Use and Disclose Your Personal Information
Collection:
If you choose to create an account and profile on our site or send us your resume, we use your personal information to provide you with secure access to your profile. We also use the profile information you provide to us (including any updates you make to your profile) for the purposes of including you in our resume database, which we use to match candidates with new positions on behalf of our clients. We collect additional personal information when you apply to jobs, interview with us, when we check your references, and when you work on assignments with our clients.
Use & Disclosure:
We use and maintain the information outlined above to determine your suitability for a job opening, to contact you about a specific job for which you have applied, or for other jobs that meet your job preference criteria. If you agree to allow us to submit your profile to one of our Clients for a job opening, we will disclose your resume and other personal information related to the application to our Client for their review. The personal information that we disclose in connection with the job opening may be stored by our Client on their internal Vendor Management System (“VMS”), such as but not limited to Fieldglass, Beeline and IQNavigator. The Client’s VMS may store its data in the United States and/or other locations.
Communication Preferences:
You can choose how we communicate with you:
  • Job Openings: We may contact you periodically via an email address or phone number that you provide regarding current positions that may be a match for your skill set.
  • Partner Offers: When you create/update your profile on our website, you may be offered the opportunity to opt-in to receive communications from our partners concerning offers that may be of interest to you, such as access to group discounts for independent contractors in the information technology industry.
Opting-out:
You can withdraw you consent to receive job opening, partner offers or surveys (see below) by email at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of such emails, or by contacting us through privacyofficer@clientconnections.com. If you are contacted by phone and do not wish to receive similar phone calls in the future, please indicate this to the caller. If you have a specific email address or phone number at which you do not want to be contacted, please do not add it to your website profile or send it to us on any correspondence.
In the event that there is an email address or phone number already in our database that you would like to delete or change and you are unable to access it through your profile on our website, please email privacyofficer@clientconnections.com indicating your request.
Service Provider Arrangements
We use third parties—who act on our behalf—to help us provide services to you, such as making our website accessible, providing the technology underlying our applicant tracking system and hosting our resume database. We may transfer personal information in our custody and control to our service providers, who may process and store it in Canada or the United States. Our service providers are not authorized to use or disclose personal information for any purpose other than providing the services on our behalf or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.
For further information about the manner in which our service providers process your personal information, contact the Privacy Officer as set out in the “Contact Us” section below.
Website Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of personal information in our custody and control, including only providing access to personal information to employees and authorized service providers who require such information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Surveys
From time to time, we may offer visitors the opportunity to participate in online surveys. The information obtained through our surveys is used in an aggregated, non-personally identifiable form. We use this information to help us understand our visitors and to enhance our service offerings. We also use contact information from our surveys to contact the visitor with follow-up questions regarding the survey. Users may opt-out of receiving future survey invitations (see the Communications Preferences section above).
Sale of Business
In the event of a merger or sale of our business, we may transfer any information we have about you to a third party or upon a sale or transfer of all or a portion of our business or assets to a third party acquirer.
Legal
We and our service providers may provide your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to another organization for the purposes of investigating a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, detecting, suppressing or preventing fraud, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable Canadian, US or other law or legal process. We may also disclose personal information to assist us in collecting a debt owed by you, or otherwise where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

We strive to keep your personal information accurate and up to date. Please assist us in doing so, by keeping your profile information current through our website.
